Last night, as I was biking back home I noticed two deer grazing below the building we live in. I just stood there for a while and watched them thinking, "I really need a better lens for my Nikon..." The other photo is the view from my balcony, looking east.
The very same night, just before sunset, I saw a huge furry brown beaver working in the water. He was not intimidated whatsoever. When he saw I was nearby, he kept swimming closer and closer. There's good reason to call this area Peace Country.

ReplyDeleteoH thanks Mary. I just noticed the comment section. Ha! I must say, I'm rather enjoying it. Today I did some clean up gardening for a lovely lady. In the last hour of trying to get'n''r done I looked up and saw a huge buck with wicked antlers observing me in her yard. I sat down on the lawn and thought. OK. this is worth it.
